行き先が決まる前の、ほんの短い余白。
SLOT HOLDER は、その曖昧な瞬間のために生まれました。
SLOT HOLDER は、本体・ストラップともに、フランス・アノネイ社の牛革を用いた眼鏡用レザーホルダーです。
RING STRAP と同じ思想のもと、素材そのものの質感と経年変化を前提に、過度な装飾を排した構成としています。
ホルダー部分には、月のアーチをイメージしたラウンドカットを採用。
機能を説明するための形状ではなく、佇まいとしての輪郭を重視したデザインです。
外側には張りのあるレザーを、内側には柔らかなスウェードを使用。
同じ革でありながら、仕上げと表情の異なる素材を組み合わせることで、強さと柔らかさ、光と影といった相反する要素をひとつの形に内包しています。
表と内で質感を変えることは保護や性能のためではなく、触れたとき、差し込んだときに感じるわずかな感覚の違いを生み出すためのもの。意図された強弱と、静かなコントラストが残る構成です。
裁断から組み上げ、革の繋ぎ目や段差を極力感じさせない処理まで、すべて職人の手作業によって仕立てられています。
コバは角を落とし、何度も磨き重ねることで、手や眼鏡が触れた際の違和感を抑えました。
センターステッチは、意図的なブレを排した一本仕上げ。
装飾のためではなく、構造を静かに整えるための線として引かれています。
SLOT HOLDER は、眼鏡を収めるための装置ではなく、行き先が定まる前の時間と、素材の関係性そのものを形にしたオブジェクトです。
After removing your eyewear,

SLOT HOLDER is a leather eyewear holder made entirely from cowhide leather, for both the body and the strap, sourced from Tanneries d’Annonay in France.
Guided by the same philosophy as RING STRAP,the design is based on the natural texture of the material and its aging over time, with all unnecessary decoration intentionally removed.
The holder features a rounded cut inspired by the arc of the moon.
Rather than explaining function, the form prioritizes its presence and outline as a quiet visual balance.
The exterior uses firm leather, while the interior is finished with a softer suede.
Though made from the same hide, the contrast in finish and expression allows opposing qualities—strength and softness, light and shadow—to coexist within a single form.
This variation in texture is not intended for protection or performance, but to create subtle differences in sensation when touched or when eyewear is slipped into place.
A structure defined by intentional contrast and restrained tension.
From cutting to assembly, every step is carried out by hand. Special care is taken to minimize seams and transitions, so the construction itself remains unobtrusive.
Edges are softened and polished repeatedly, reducing any discomfort when touched by hand or eyewear.
The center stitch is executed as a single, unwavering line. Not decorative,
but a line drawn to quietly stabilize the structure.
SLOT HOLDER is not a device for storing eyewear,
but an object shaped by the moment before its destination is decided—
a form that gives shape to time, and to the relationship between materials.

・水分や湿気に弱いため、雨や汗などで濡れた場合は、乾いた柔らかい布で水分を拭き取り、直射日光を避けた風通しの良い場所で自然乾燥させてください。
・濡れた状態での摩擦は、色落ちや色移りの原因となる場合があります。淡色の衣類との組み合わせにはご注意ください。
・高温多湿、直射日光の当たる場所での保管はお避けください。
